Georgina Leach is a violinist and string arranger based in London. She has performed with Ramin Karimloo, Ethan Johns and Seasick Steve and recorded with Billy Bragg and Mary Chapin Carpenter.

Playing across a range of different styles, Georgina draws upon these diverse influences to create her own unique voice on the violin. Equally at home on stage and in studio, she is happiest playing in the moment, responding and adapting to the musicians around her.

 

In addition to the violin, Georgina also plays viola and cello meaning she is able to arrange and record anything from a string trio/quartet up to a full string section from her home studio. 

Georgina was shortlisted as 'Instrumentalist of the Year 2018' by the Americana Music Association UK. She uses pick-ups and pre-amps made by Headway Audio
